Job description

**Job Specific Duties:** 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Adhere to the guidelines set by the state licensing board, the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
- Conduct thorough psychological evaluations by using information gathered from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and relevant collateral sources.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses in line with the criteria outlined in the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment to individuals and groups, assisting medical and surgical patients in coping with illnesses or injuries.
- Support the rehabilitation process for patients.

**Work Schedule:**
The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, requiring 8.5 hours of work between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM, which includes a half-hour lunch break. There are no weekend, on-call, or holiday obligations!

**Minimum Qualifications:**
- **Education:** A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a program accredited by the APA.
- **Internship/Residency:** Completion of a psychology internship accredited by the American Psychological Association.
- **Experience:** At least one year of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist is necessary.
- **License:** Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in any state.
- **Life Support Certification:** Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification from AHA or ARC is required.
- **Security Clearance:** Candidates must be able to pass a government background check and security clearance.
