The Role in Action
Drive Performance & Growth (40%)
  • Develop and execute strategic annual and quarterly plans to achieve ambitious portfolio goals
  • Maintains oversight of commercial performance through robust analysis of KPIs, and wider commercial data sourced from Aletheia and StoreForce; identifying opportunities, and drive growth
  • Lead and motivate your teams to understand performance drivers and deliver outstanding results
  • Collaborate with their Commercial Director and peers to deliver commercial success for their market and zone by sharing successes and best practice
  • Partners with their Trainer to grow team capability in line with portfolio and business goals

Recruit, Develop & Retain (30%)
  • Partner with Store Managers and Talent Acquisition to recruit, onboard, and develop exceptional Aesop retail talent ; approve hiring decision for all Retail Consultants
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to Store Managers and Consultants, fostering their growth and enhancing retail performance
  • Builds dynamic talent development, retention & succession plans for their portfolio by adhering to Aesop's performance review cycle and talent review process

Lead Customer Experience (20%)
  • Champion the consistent delivery of the Aesop customer experience, inspiring teams to uphold our non-negotiables,
  • Ensure excellence in clienteling and CRM tools to recruit new customers and foster loyalty
  • Analyze customer feedback and NPS scores to continuously enhance the in-store experience
  • Partners with Marketing and Visual Merchandising to optimize product mix and ensure coherent and impactful campaigns
  • Ensures the consistent delivery of the Aesop retail standards across their portfolio in relation to the five senses

Lead Portfolio Operations (10%)
  • Conducts regular and purposeful store visits that motivate, build capability, reinforce key messages and uncover commercial opportunities. 80% of an Cluster Managers working week will be spent in stores
  • Act as a vital link between head office and retail, ensure effective communication and strategic support

What you will bring
  • Proven 3+ years experience successfully leading a team of managers in a customer and sales-focused retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to own and manage a P&L for a store network.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for engaging customers and inspiring teams.
  • Experience in multi-site management and solving problems with autonomy within established business frameworks
  • Proven track record in building brand presence and awareness in market
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time within the portfolio and for ad-hoc offsites in the US
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Position based in Dallas, TX open to applicants based in Austin, TX or Houston, TX
