Established in 2000 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, Bobby Jones Links is a club management and development company serving private, resort, daily fee, and public courses. Located in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and managed by Bobby Jones Links, The Captain's Club offers a premium public 18-hole golf course within the Woodfield Community. Designed by the legendary 1989 Ryder Cup captain, Raymond Floyd, the course is surrounded by protected wetlands and wildlife that never disappoint! The club is currently hiring for Golf Shop Attendants.
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Assisting the Head Golf Professional in planning, promoting, and directing all golf activities.
  • Developing merchandise sales and promotions during holidays, specials events, and times when sales are slow.
  • Ordering supplies for the golf shop as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
  • Assisting the Head Golf Professional with all tournament operations.
  • Maintaining all logs (comp, rain check, monthly range, etc).
  • Completing customer transactions.

Required Skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and club point of sales systems.
  • Understanding of Club financials.
  • Evaluation of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Knowledge of shop inventory.
  • Attention to detail.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.
