Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Identifying and Reporting to Management Food Safety and Quality Issues
  • To assist the supervisor in the training and development of all new Club Chef employees
  • Report to supervisor any problems or potential problems occurring in their area.
  • To ensure that quality products are being produced daily and meeting the customers’ requirements
  • To keep all employees aware of company rules, GMP’s (General Manufacturing Practices), safety procedures, break times, lunch times and production start and finish times and to correctly enforce them.
  • Inter-department collaboration with warehouse, transportation and quality.
  • Take on role of an efficient Leader: being a good role model, skilled in decision making, ability to encourage and motivate workers and treat everyone fairly.
  • Ability to follow safety amp; GMP requirements and ability to identify and report to Management Food Safety and Quality Issues
Skills and Competencies:
  • Dependable, reliable and punctual
  • Must be able to stand, walk, climb, reach, lift, pull, push, stoop, squat, bend and stretch as needed throughout shift
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak, read, and write basic English
  • Excellent math skills required
  • Excellent communication and leader skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace, in a team oriented environment
  • Work in a refrigerated environment, 34 – 55 degrees Fahrenheit consistently
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends and overtime when needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
Experience and Education Requirements:
  • Previous experience preferred in a similar environment.
  • Strongly preferred minimum 1-2 years of supervision experience
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred
