Monday to Friday, 1st shift
Pay: $80,000-$110,000

Job Overview

Sealed Air is seeking an experienced Shipping Supervisor to lead shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow activities at our Hanover, PA manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, operational efficiency, and team performance while supporting production and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control processes.
  • Monitor material flow to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
  • Drive on-time shipping performance and transportation efficiency.
  • Analyze inventory data to improve inventory turns and reduce waste.
  • Manage obsolete and surplus inventory programs.
  • Develop and track KPIs related to inventory, shipping, safety, and productivity.
  • Resolve shipping and customer service issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead, coach, train, and develop warehouse and materials team members.
  • Manage departmental budgets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining low PPM throughout logistics in the side
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
    • With HSD/GED are welcome to apply provided candidates have more than 10 years of related work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, or inventory management.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
    • Basic understanding
  • Knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, VMI, and Kanban systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or metal fabrication environments.
  • Background in logistics, purchasing, planning, or materials management.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt, or similar process improvement training.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD).
