Responsibilities
The Programmer/Analyst 2 formulates and defines systems scope, objectives, and solutions based on organizational requirements. The Programmer/Analyst 2 has a good understanding of technological best practices and applies this knowledge to system design and configuration. The Programmer/Analyst 2 modifies systems or creates custom solutions to solve complex problems. The Programmer/Analyst 2 may work with systems analysts and other organizational leaders to understand requirements and lead efforts to build solutions. He/She provides technical and/or business subject matter expertise to translate data into information and actionable knowledge.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Education and Work Experience:
    • BS or BA in related field
    • A minimum 2 years building and/or coding applications, interfaces, or reports within a healthcare/physician practice environment preferred OR BS or BA in any field with 3-5 years of relevant technical experience.
    • Must have a Clarity certification in Revenue Cycle or Clinical Data Models.

      • Performance Manager/NetLearning
    • Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

    • Must possess the ability to effectively communicate and deal tactfully with other personnel, visitors, patients, physicians, customers, and the general public.

    • Demonstrated progressive experience with information systems; healthcare environment preferred.

    • Experience with some of the following technologies required: SQL queries, SQL server, Analysis Services, HL7, Visual Basic, scripting, Epic Clarity and/or Workbench reporting, Meditech Data Repository, Cloverleaf Interface Engine.
    • Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of users who have varying levels of computer expertise.
    • Ability to implement and adhere to best practices in information technology system integrity and build standards.
