Key job responsibilities
- Design and architect new systems from scratch or enhance existing infrastructure, owning the technical direction from conception through deployment. Define system requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and make critical architectural decisions that impact CloudFront's global infrastructure.
- Mentor and guide team members in solving complex technical challenges with elegant, scalable solutions

Conduct design reviews, provide technical coaching, and raise the engineering bar across the team.
- Drive strategic initiatives to improve security posture and availability of CloudFront's infrastructure. Identify systemic risks, propose innovative solutions, and lead cross-team efforts to implement improvements at scale.
