Key job responsibilities
Design scalable systems from the ground up or enhance existing CloudFront infrastructure, owning the complete technical lifecycle from architecture decisions through implementation and deployment
Drive technical strategy for initiatives that impact millions of customers globally, making key architectural decisions that shape the future of CloudFront
Guide team members through complex technical challenges, promoting elegant solutions over complicated ones through hands-on coaching and knowledge sharing
Conduct design reviews and share best practices to elevate the team's technical capabilities and maintain high engineering standards
Identify and implement improvements to CloudFront's security posture and availability, proposing and driving adoption of new technologies and tools
Lead initiatives that strengthen system resilience, reduce operational burden, and improve customer experience
Write production code for critical features and infrastructure improvements, actively participating in the development process
