Job Title: Principal Product Marketing Manager
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Remote - United States
About CloudBees
CloudBees enables enterprises to deliver scalable, compliant, and secure software, empowering developers to do their best work.
Seamlessly integrating into any hybrid and heterogeneous environment, CloudBees is more than a tool-it's a strategic partner in your cloud transformation journey, ensuring security, compliance, and operational efficiency while enhancing the developer experience across your entire software development lifecycle. It allows developers to bring and execute their code anywhere, providing greater flexibility and freedom through fast, self-serve, and secure workflows.
CloudBees supports organizations at every step of their DevSecOps journey, whether using Jenkins on-premise or transitioning software delivery to the cloud. We're helping customers build the future, today.
About the Role
You'll turn CloudBees' AI from features into force multipliers by creating the story, the offer, and the plays that ignite demand and give Sales an unfair advantage. If it doesn't shape the roadmap or drive revenue, it doesn't ship.
You own AI GTM end-to-end, where velocity meets accountability. Be the AI PM's counterweight with customer insight and data. Package, price, launch, enable, measure. Build repeatable plays that turn interest into opportunity, and opportunity into ARR.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own AI GTM strategy and execution: Build a GTM for AI that connects messaging, packaging, pricing, channels, and demand motions to business impact. Pipeline or bust.
  • Experience in marketing AI/ML, especially AI developer tools.
  • Be a market maker: CloudBees is unifying software delivery for the enterprise. You'll turn that into an AI market position buyers can't ignore.
  • Partner with AI PM: Act as a thought partner and accountability counterpart, bringing customer and market insights into product decisions. If it doesn't influence the roadmap or drive revenue, it's noise.
  • Craft the narrative: Position our AI capabilities with clear, differentiated messaging that resonates with DevOps champions and economic buyers.
  • Package and price AI: Shape models that balance buyer value, adoption, and business economics.
  • Launch products and features: Drive launch playbacks from idea to market, ensuring each release lands with customers, Sales, and analysts.
  • Fuel demand: Partner across Marketing and Sales to design integrated plays, content, and campaigns for high-priority verticals and use cases.
  • Enable the field: Create playbooks, tools, and narratives that help AEs and SEs win with AI.
  • Lead with data: Define and evolve success measures and dashboards to track adoption, market impact, and GTM effectiveness.
  • Be the voice of the customer: Capture buyer and user insights, competitive intel, and market signals, feeding them into GTM and roadmap decisions.
  • Represent CloudBees externally: Publish content, brief analysts, and engage with customers and the industry to position CloudBees as a leader in DevOps and AI.
  • Use AI to multiply output: Apply generative AI tools for research, messaging, content acceleration, and competitive analysis.
Qualifications
Required:
  • 7+ years in product marketing for DevOps, developer platforms, or adjacent SaaS/AI products.
  • Track record of multi-product solution launches with business impact.
  • Deep understanding of the enterprise buyer journey and software delivery.
  • Talent for translating technical capabilities into buyer value.
  • Strong storyteller with executive presence and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Comfortable working across globally distributed teams, with a bias for action and experimentation.

Preferred (not required):
  • Familiarity with regulated industries (finance, healthcare, public sector).
  • Analyst relations or thought leadership experience tied to category creation or shaping.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Pay Range: [$190,000 - $210,000 annually] In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
  • What CloudBees Offers:
    • Health Insurance
    • Dental Insurance
    • Vision Insurance
    • Short & Long Term Disability
    • Life Insurance
    • HSA/FSA
    • Remote Work Environment
    • Flexible Time Off
    • Paid Company Holidays
    • Parental Leave
    • Variable Bonus Plan dependent on your role
    • Stock grant opportunities dependent on your role
    • 401(k) with Company Match
