This role offers the opportunity to work closely with software engineering, product, testing, and business teams to design automated tests, support regression and integration testing, and improve overall software quality across modern enterprise systems.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs, UI, and backend services
  • Implement and enhance existing automation scripts to support regression and integration testing
  • Design test cases based on user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform system integration and automated testing for new or updated applications
  • Identify, log, track, and help resolve defects using Jira or similar tools
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, or CloudBees
  • Participate in story refinement and sprint planning to ensure clear understanding of requested functionality
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business partners, and cross-functional teams to improve software quality
  • Stay current with new software testing methodologies, tools frameworks, and automation technologies

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 4 years of related software testing, automation, or quality engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber
  • Strong experience with automated testing across UI, API, backend services, regression, and integration scenarios
  • Hands‑on backend test automation experience using Rest Assured or Karate for API testing
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL, with the ability to write and optimize queries preferred
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall
  • Experience working with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, CloudBees, Git, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with onsite/offshore coordination models and cross‑team collaboration
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced, team‑oriented environments
Preferred Skills & Certifications
  • Experience testing applications that handle privacy, security, or business‑critical workflows
