Senior Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect with strong hands-on expertise in AWS and Microsoft Azure to design, implement, secure, and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available, secure, and resilient AWS/Azure cloud architectures.
  • Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives.
  • Design and manage cloud networking components including VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPN, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, load balancers, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement cloud security, IAM, RBAC, encryption, secrets management, and compliance controls.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud environments for performance, reliability, availability, and cost.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, security, and production issues.
  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, database, and infrastructure teams.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, technical documentation, standards, and implementation plans.
  • Establish cloud governance and operational best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to cloud engineering teams.

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Architecture, and Infrastructure Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server administration.
  • Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
