We are looking for AWS Senior Developer for our client in Raleigh NC.

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $70.00hr - $75.00hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Proficient in using various AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue Crawlers, and Athena to build and manage cloud solutions.
• Extensive experience in data processing and transformation using AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, EMR, Athena, Amazon Managed Service for Apache Flink, AWS Step Functions, and AWS SageMaker.
• Experience in data ingestion and storage using S3, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehouse, and DMS.
• Experience in modernizing applications, including refactoring, migration, and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of modern database technologies and strategies for migrating and modernizing database systems.
• Experience in creating AWS ETL jobs and data pipelines with high volumes of data.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Hands-on software development skills in Java, J2EE, Java Spring framework, and Hibernate technology.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Framework environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in developing and building AWS Data Lake formation, contributing to design, development, and writing code.
• Experience in customizing AWS ETL logic using Python code.
• Knowledge of security and data governance covering fine-grained permissions, managing user and service permissions, data encryption, auditing, and compliance.
• Hands-on skills in Python scripting.
• Experience working with transactional or RDMS databases.
• Experience with DevSecOps, IaC, building CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective modernization strategies.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Act as a advisor to the technical team on industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Develop, test, debug, and deliver within the timeline using the best tools and best practices available.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues and challenges.
• Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to organizational needs.
• Identify architectural risks and plan to mitigate risks.
• Ensure adherence to standards and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and business stakeholders.

• Experience with data analytics and business intelligence solutions like Power BI or AWS QuickSight.
