Job description

Cloud Engineer
Contract: 10-Months
Location: Tallahassee, Florida (5 days, onsite)
This position does not support third-party submissions, subcontracting, or Corp-to-Corp (C2C) arrangements.
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments. This role will be responsible for cloud resource administration, performance monitoring, Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory management, Windows and Linux server support, and PowerShell automation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on cloud infrastructure experience and the ability to troubleshoot complex environments, improve system performance, and maintain technical standards and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Cloud infrastructure engineering and administration across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
  • Azure resource deployment, optimization, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • AWS resource deployment, configuration, optimization, and infrastructure management.
  • Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration, including identity and access management.
  • Windows and Linux Server administration and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
  • PowerShell scripting and automation for Azure, Active Directory, and server management.
  • Demonstrated experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts;
  • Experience working in virtual server and Cloud environments; and
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain processes to optimize Microsoft Azure resources.
  • Analyze Azure resource performance, identify resource contention, and recommend changes or upgrades.
  • Perform Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory management activities.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain processes to optimize AWS resources.
  • Develop and maintain technical specifications, standards, procedures, and systems documentation
