Job description

Senior Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. Our team designs, implements, and manages our organization's cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The Senior Cloud Engineer will help lead cloud strategy, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with applications. Key responsibilities include Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation, automation, cloud security best practices, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery planning to support business objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-tenanted Terraform Enterprise platform
  • Deliver infrastructure as code
  • Develop workflows in Ansible to deliver repeatable operations tasks
  • Design repeatable infrastructure delivery patterns in Azure, AWS, and GCP
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and Azure Key Vault
  • Manage and design RBAC for Azure Subscriptions, Terraform workspaces
  • Document Patterns in Atlassian Confluence and deliver highly inline documented code
Minimum Requirements
  • Certification: Terraform Enterprise Associate, or equivalent experience in writing modular re-usable Infrastructure-as-Code in multi-tenanted environments
  • Ansible experience in building new and complex workflows
  • Knowledge of GIT, Azure DevOps
  • Enterprise experience with RBAC/IAM and Secrets management
  • One or more of: Azure Solutions Architecture Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Network Engineer
  • Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
  • Experience using Azure and/or AWS, GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Enterprise experience in Compliance/Audit
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in technology and management
  • Results oriented, business focused, and successful at interfacing across multiple organizational units
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Programming or related field, 5+ years relevant experience in platform delivery
