We're seeking an impact player to support our high-visibility mission-critical project bridging the gap between data accessibility and national security by solving complex, 'no-fail' problems.
Two Six is looking for a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Terraform to design, implement, and manage infrastructure across our cloud environments. This role is critical in automating our infrastructure provisioning and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across our systems.
What you will do:
  • Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Migrate existing CloudFormation code to Terraform
  • Develop reusable Terraform modules and maintain version-controlled infrastructure
  • Work with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to implement CI/CD and deployment strategies

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform (writing modules, managing state, workspaces, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud provider
  • Experience with DevOps tools and utilities to include Github, Ansible & CDK
  • Ability to work effectively in a Linux-based development environment
  • Familiarity with containers and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and IAM in the cloud
  • Proficient in at least one scripting language

Nice to haves:
  • Terraform SME
  • Hands-on experience with multiple cloud providers such as [AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP]
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Hands on experience with python
  • Knowledge of containerization

Security Clearance:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
