These engineers implement managed cloud services, develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules, configure cloud environments, deploy logging and monitoring agents, and sustain platform operations across all lifecycle environments (DEV, TEST, STAGE, PROD).
Cloud Platform Engineers collaborate with cloud architects, cybersecurity engineers, DevSecOps teams, and application teams to ensure secure, compliant, scalable, and maintainable cloud environments that align with Zero Trust and RMF IL5 requirements.
These positions are fully remote.

    • Deploy and manage cloud logging, observability, and monitoring agents across all environments.
    • Support platform operations including patching, uptime monitoring, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
    • Ensure platform configurations adhere to Zero Trust principles, RMF controls, STIGs, and IL5 cloud requirements.
    • Assist with provisioning cloud environments for application teams, applying repeatable and secure templates.
    • Troubleshoot cloud issues related to IAM, networking, compute, storage, and configuration drift.
    • Maintain platform documentation, architecture diagrams, IaC repositories, and operational playbooks.
    • Support DevSecOps pipeline integration and deployment automation for platform-level services.
    • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) reviews for cloud updates and environment-level changes.

Qualifications
Clearance Requirement
Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, supported by a Tier 5 background investigation.

  • Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud monitoring, logging, and centralized observability platforms.
  • Understanding of RMF, STIGs, Zero Trust, and IL5 cloud governance requirements.

Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated cloud deployments.
