Position Summary

In this hands-on role, you will support environments across corporate offices, data centers, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Microsoft Azure, AWS, customer environments, and internal business systems. You will play a key role in ensuring infrastructure security, reliability, availability, and performance while serving as a senior escalation point for complex systems, cloud, network, and infrastructure issues.

You will also contribute to infrastructure projects, automation, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with technical teams across the organization.


Responsibilities

    Network, Cloud & Security

    • Administer and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure.
    • Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, network segmentation, firewalls, and VPN connectivity.
    • Support connectivity across OCI, Azure, AWS, customer environments, and hybrid infrastructure.
    • Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.

    Systems & Infrastructure Operations

    • Administer Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Intune, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
    • Ensure infrastructure availability, reliability, performance, and service continuity.
    • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives.
    • Maintain infrastructure standards, documentation, and operational procedures.

    Security, Monitoring & Incident Management

    • Implement security controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, endpoint hardening, and access management.
    • Monitor infrastructure health, performance, capacity, and availability using tools such as SolarWinds, SNMP, and Syslog.
    • Resolve complex infrastructure, network, cloud, and customer integration issues and lead root-cause analysis.
    • Participate in major incident response, escalations, and after-hours support when required.

    Automation, Recovery & Projects

    • Develop automation using PowerShell, Terraform, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
    • Improve infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes through automation and approved AI tools.
    • Manage backups, recovery validation, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.
    • Lead infrastructure and cloud projects and collaborate with Development, DevOps, QA, Security, Product, and business teams.
    • Provide technical guidance, mentor junior administrators, and contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmap planning.


    Qualifications

    Education & Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
    • Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud certification required; additional cloud, cybersecurity, automation, or architecture certifications are an asset.

    Experience

    • 5+ years of enterprise network administration experience in medium to large environments.
    • Strong experience with Cisco ASA/Firepower, Cisco switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, network segmentation, and VPNs.
    • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments, particularly OCI and/or Azure, as well as Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
    • Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, SNMP, and Syslog.
    • Experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, or technical leadership is an asset.

      Formation et certifications

      • Baccalaureat en informatique, technologies de l'information, genie ou domaine connexe, ou combinaison equivalente de formation et d'experience.
      • Certification Microsoft Azure ou certification infonuagique equivalente requise; des certifications supplementaires en cloud, cybersecurite, automatisation ou architecture sont un atout.

      Experience

      • Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en administration de reseaux d'entreprise dans des environnements de moyenne a grande taille.
      • Solide experience avec Cisco ASA/Firepower, la commutation Cisco, le routage, les VLAN, DNS, DHCP, la segmentation reseau et les VPN.
      • Experience avec les environnements infonuagiques hybrides, particulierement OCI et/ou Azure, ainsi qu'avec Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Entra ID et Microsoft 365.
