You will work on a modern ecosystem and platform landscape that includes Azure cloud services, Kubernetes and container platforms, event-driven integration, CI/CD automation, secrets and access management, and production operations. The role is hands-on and practical: you will help improve developer experience, platform reliability, automation, and delivery speed for data, application, and analytics workloads.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support event-driven and scheduled workload patterns across platform services and compute environments.

  • Partner with application, data and analytics teams to onboard workloads onto shared platform capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot incidents, deployment issues, scaling problems, and integration failures in lower and production environments.

  • Improve observability, reliability, security, and cost discipline across the platform.

  • Support Kubernetes-based application development, deployment, configuration, scaling, and troubleshooting.

  • Assist with platform automation for build, release, configuration, and environment setup.

  • Help maintain secure secrets, identity, and access patterns using services such as Azure Key Vault and managed identity.

  • Contribute to monitoring and operational tooling using Azure-native observability and logging solutions.

  • Work with senior engineers to improve platform standards, reusable patterns, and self-service capabilities.

  • Handle provision and Azure resources request process.

  • Participate in production support, root cause analysis, and follow-up remediation work.

  • Document technical designs, runbooks, and platform operating procedures clearly.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (Microsoft Azure preferred; AWS or Google Cloud experience is also acceptable).

  • Practical experience with containers and Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, or GKE).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Experience with scripting or automation using at least one language such as Python and Bash.

  • Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, identity, and security fundamentals in cloud environments.

  • Experience troubleshooting application, API, platform or infrastructure issues in cloud environments.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across partner teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years of proven experience working in a managed Kubernetes environment (AKS preferred; EKS or GKE also considered).

  • 3 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

  • Experience with Azure services such as Event Hubs, Event Grid, Azure Cloud Storage, API Management and Key Vault, or equivalent services on AWS or Google Cloud.

  • Knowledge of API development and complementary tools such as FastAPI and Swagger.

  • Experience with Docker, Helm, GitHub Actions, or GitOps-style deployment workflows.

  • Experience supporting Azure Ubuntu virtual machines, including Linux-based VM administration, troubleshooting, and operational support.

  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and platform integration patterns.

  • Exposure to workflow or data platform tooling such as Airflow, Databricks, or similar analytics platforms.
