Job description

Assists store customers in selecting and purchasing items. Stock, arrange, and display furniture, bric-a-brac, books, clothes, and other similar products; rotate and/or rearrange stock as needed; return items to the proper location. Perform routine security activities while observing customers shopping in the store. May assist with moving donations to the storage area; prepare and provide donation receipts. Perform various cleaning activities, including but not limited to clean display racks, shelves, windows, mirrors, storage area; sweep and mop floors; clean other areas as needed. Answer the store telephone in a tactful and courteous manner.
Education and Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred and experience working in a retail store preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
