Job description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze MBL loan applications, financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and other supporting documents for businesses.
  • Perform financial analysis, including cash flow analysis, to determine the financial viability of the loan and the level of risk involved.
  • Perform all processing functions, like ordering credit reports, appraisals, appraisal reviews, flood determinations, funds verification, etc.
  • Follow up on missing documents and/or information with the Business Loan Consultant.
  • Communicate with borrowers during the application process as needed.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential borrowers to verify the accuracy of information and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations.
  • Prepare credit write-ups.
  • Communicate loan decisions to clients and collaborate with other internal teams.ย 
  • Support closing team with collecting required documents and information from borrower(s) in preparation for closing, review pre-closing conditions and gather the necessary approvals to proceed with closing.
  • Assist portfolio administration team with collecting documents required for annual reviews.
  • Assist management in preparing monthly closing pipeline reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager or as needed.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience in lending field or financial environment, workflow organization and processing procedures.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and business lending with completion of formal commercial loan analysis education on the evaluation of financial statements and tax returns, or prior work experience.

Pay: $27.57 - $33.94 per hour
