Responsibilities - Service Advisor:

  • Schedule service appointments with customers
  • Greet customers and make them feel welcome!
  • Work with customer and technician to identify required services using vehicle’s service history
  • Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs
  • Notify customers of any special advertised services to take advantage of
  • Compute the cost of replacement parts and labor to restore the vehicle to the condition specified by the customer
  • Address customer’s questions and needs promptly and professionally
  • Ensure comprehensive pre-delivery check of customer vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and that all items identified for service/repair have been completed as scheduled
  • Review results of customer satisfaction surveys with the service manager
  • Establish long-term positive relationships with customers
  • Meet the dealership’s standards for repair/order production

Qualifications/Requirements - Service Advisor:

  • Service Advisor experience is preferred but not required
  • Good customer service skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Valid driver’s license
