Maintenance Mechanic – Rotor Clip

Position Overview
The Maintenance Mechanic will perform a wide range of mechanical duties—from routine preventive maintenance to complex repairs—ensuring that plant equipment, machinery, tools, and heat‐treating furnaces remain in optimal operating condition. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to work both independently and in a team setting, and a proactive, safety‐focused mindset.

Rotor Clip recognizes the strong mechanical foundation of professional automotive technicians. Candidates with experience as auto techs are encouraged to apply. Skills such as diagnostics, mechanical repair, hydraulic knowledge, troubleshooting under time pressure, and familiarity with tools and schematics translate exceptionally well into industrial maintenance and will be fully utilized and further developed in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery, including pumps, conveyors, furnaces, and ovens
- Repair and maintain stamping presses, heat‐treating furnaces and other manufacturing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and take measurements to plan or complete repair projects
- Operate shop equipment such as drill presses, grinders, and belt sanders
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement effective solutions
- Perform preventive maintenance and accurately record results
- Prioritize work orders and respond to urgent repair needs
- Source and replace parts from inventory as needed
- Assist with equipment upgrades and improvement projects
- Rigging or millwright experience is a plus
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and in a collaborative environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of lubrication systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem‐solving skills
- Ability to adapt and learn new equipment and processes
- Automotive mechanical experience highly valued

Shift: 10‐hour day shift (6am - 4:30pm), Monday–Friday
