Job Overview Summary
The Proposals Manager will be responsible for supporting requests across Advarra's business lines for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), strategic partnership agreements, transactional proposals, and vendor assessments/security questionnaires. The right candidate will coordinate proposal-related functions including RFP distribution, proposal development and production, vendor assessment/security questionnaire management, presentation support and post submittal follow-up for new and existing business. This role will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of standard text for proposals and standard answers for vendor assessments/security questionnaires. The ideal candidate will have experience working either in proposal or marketing functions, with an ability to manage several projects and competing deadlines. The successful candidate will be someone who has a strong sense of accountability, strong written and verbal communication, and project management skills.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Owns client proposal development in collaboration with Commercial Sales Account Executives
  • Coordinates cross-functionally within Commercial Sales and with various Advarra SMEs in the development of proposals, vendor assessments, and other requested documents
  • Ensures compliance with requirements specified in RFPs and vendor assessment requests
  • Customizes, proofreads, edits, and ensures accuracy of the final proposal/questionnaire document
  • Completes all required forms and obtains all necessary signatures
  • Manages the coordination and timeline for completion of the RFP or questionnaire
  • Maintains their project documentation including proposal/questionnaire, attachments, communications, etc.
  • Maintains and updates proposal boilerplate, current corporate information, location profiles, resumes, bios, customer references and templates as needed

This role is open to candidates working remotely in the United States.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years' experience in proposals, contracting, or a similar field
  • Computer skills, including proficiency using MS Office, Excel, Word and collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Loopio or similar RFP system is a plus
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with internal and external clients with a high degree of professionalism and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
  • Strong organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently; planning, organizing, scheduling and completing work within deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess strong written, oral and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task, establishing and managing conflicting demands and priorities
  • Able to work in team environment
  • Ability to adapt to changes in office technology, equipment and/or processes
  • Demonstrated consistency and dependability in quantity and quality of work

Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
  • Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.

  • Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
  • Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking

The base salary range for this role is $71,000 - $125,000. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience and may vary from the amounts listed above. This position may also be eligible for a variable bonus in addition to base salary as well as health coverage, paid holidays, and other benefits.
