Greater Seacoast Health (GSH) is seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to become one of the founding leaders of our brand-new Wakefield Primary Care practice.

This leadership role combines clinical expertise with operational oversight to ensure exceptional patient care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and an outstanding patient experience.

The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations, supporting and developing clinical staff, partnering with providers and leadership, and providing direct clinical care as needed to support patient access and continuity of care.

Leadership & Operations

  • Provide day-to-day leadership for nursing and clinical support staff.
  • Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and daily clinical operations.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and exceptional patient service.
  • Partner with providers to improve workflow, patient access, and operational efficiency.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and staff development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing mentoring.

Clinical Responsibilities

In addition to leadership responsibilities, you will:

  • Provide direct patient care within your RN scope of practice.
  • Assist with patient triage and clinical assessments.
  • Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments.
  • Support providers during patient visits and clinical procedures.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and Medical Assistants.
  • Help maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care.

Quality & Compliance

  • Lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor infection prevention, medication management, and patient safety practices.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing practice throughout the clinic.

Resource Management

  • Assist with budgeting and operational planning.
  • Monitor equipment, supplies, and inventory.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Minimum Qualifications (Required to Be Considered)

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

✔ Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) License

✔ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

✔ Minimum three (3) years of ambulatory or outpatient nursing experience

✔ Minimum two (2) years of nursing leadership or supervisory experience

✔ Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Applicants who do not meet the minimum RN experience and leadership requirements will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Primary Care or Community Health experience
  • Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) experience
  • Experience supervising Medical Assistants and clinical support staff
  • Experience leading quality improvement initiatives
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience
