As a Nurse Extern you will develop your nursing skills through a partnership with an experienced Registered Nurse and gain hands on experience performing direct patient care.

The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, collects comprehensive data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health and/or situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
Diagnosis:
The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnoses or the issues by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
Outcomes Identification:
The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
Planning:
The nurse extern, under the direction of the registered nurse, develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternative to attain expected outcomes by providing an extraordinary patient experience, compassionate care and clinical excellence one patient at a time.
Implementation:
