Job description

Overview

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant supporting both front and back office operations in a clinical setting. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care through clinical support, health education, and outreach, all within a collaborative environment designed to foster growth and development.

Responsibilities

Greet and room patients efficiently and professionally

Schedule appointments and answer patient inquiries via phone

Take vital signs and assist with clinical procedures

Draw blood and administer vaccines as needed

Provide clinical support across various functions

Maintain effective communication with team members and patients

Ensure accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Support health education and outreach initiatives

Required Skills

At least 1 year of medical assistant experience (beyond externship)

Experience with phlebotomy or venipuncture

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Strong computer skills and ability to multitask

Additional Skills & Requirements

Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred

Occupational Health experience is a plus

Experience drawing blood and administering vaccines required

Availability to work during scheduled hours including MWF 7am-6pm, and Tu/Th 7am-5pm
