Job description

GI Hospitalist needed in Palm Beach County, FL!
Seeking to hire physician that can start right away!
1099 with flexibility on how things are structured!
7 days on 7 days off for a total of 26 weeks
Start-date August 15th
Can see patients in the office on off days if so chooses
Base expected to be 375K to 425k based on experience, plus 20% collections and benefits package
The other GIs are in private practices in the area so hospital would like to have a GI on premises every day. Will be the in house GI consultant on call for the hospital, on the premises
Independent contractor
There is no call schedule when you are on your week off
235 beds in hospital
You would need to round on the patients and take call if required during your week on and see the patients. Otherwise, there are no required hours (do not sleep at hospital) and you could be in your own practice on your week off ( if you are trying to maintain an existing practice).
Procedures scheduled, then do consults as needed. NP rounds and does consults as well.
Anesthesia is available
