Position Overview
The Director of Clinical Services provides strategic and operational leadership for clinical programs, ensuring high-quality, client-centered care. This role oversees clinical teams, drives program development and quality improvement, and supports staff through supervision, training, and mentorship. The Director ensures compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a safe, therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee clinical program delivery to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care
Supervise and mentor licensed and associate-level clinicians in individual and group settings
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across clinical programming
Ensure residential programming is well-coordinated, staffed, and aligned with client needs
Conduct and oversee treatment team meetings to support coordinated care planning
Provide ongoing staff training on clinical practices, compliance, and cultural competency
Maintain compliance with licensure, accreditation, and payer requirements
Collaborate with utilization review teams to ensure appropriate level of care and documentation
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and referral sources regarding treatment progress
Represent and promote the organization's mission, vision, and values to internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Active clinical license (LISW, LPCC, LPC-MHSP, LCSW, or LMFT)
