Director, Radiology Nursing

BIDMC East & West Shapiro | Boston, MA

Lead Beyond Traditional Nursing Leadership

Join a Magnet-designated academic medical center as the Director of Radiology Nursing, overseeing a team of 45 nurses supporting:

✅ Interventional Radiology
✅ CT-Guided Procedures
✅ Ultrasound-Guided Procedures
✅ Procedural Imaging Services

This is a unique leadership opportunity for a nursing expert who thrives in a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

What Makes This Role Different?
  • Not a traditional Nursing Director position
  • Serves as the nursing subject matter expert across all Radiology modalities
  • Partners closely with Radiology leaders, physicians, and Nursing Directors throughout BIDMC
  • Leads quality, patient safety, and patient event reporting initiatives

What You'll Lead

Qualifications

Required

  • BSN required
  • Massachusetts RN License required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Radiology and/or Peri Op Nursing Experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant healthcare leadership experience required

Preferred

  • Master's Degree (Nursing, Healthcare Administration, MBA, or related field)
  • Leadership experience in Interventional Radiology, Procedural Services, Critical Care, or Imaging

Pay Range:

$180,000.00 USD - $230,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
