Overview
The Research Data Support Analyst is responsible for collecting, monitoring, and analyzing IICAPS (Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services), data to track treatment outcomes and identify trends. This position works closely with IICAPS sites to ensure accurate and timely data submission and serves as the primary point of contact for the web-based data system. The incumbent collaborates with the IICAPS MDO team, Research team, and ITS/HSIS to support data analysis, SAS reporting, database enhancements, and system improvements. Responsibilities also include preparing quarterly and annual reports highlighting treatment outcomes, monitoring model fidelity across IICAPS sites and agencies in Connecticut and Rhode Island, and presenting data findings during meetings. The Research Data Support Analyst uses data to support IICAPS model development, quality assurance, continuous improvement, and publications.
This is a part-time benefit-level position working 20 hours per week.
Required Skills and Abilities
1. Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, interpret, and present data to identify trends and measure program outcomes.
2. Demonstrated experience with SAS or other related statistical software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to monitor data quality and model fidelity.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare reports, present findings, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and ensuring accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
5. Proficiency in working with databases, web-based data systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data management and system enhancements.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
1. Bachelor's degree (or higher) in social science, including but not limited to, Sociology, Health Sciences, Psychology, Applied/Bio Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Education
2. Experience with clinical data management, coordination, and analyses.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Consult to faculty and researchers regarding their projects and needs related to data infrastructure and data-related processes. Discuss suggested project designs solutions.
2. Work with procurement and legal teams to assist researchers to locate and acquire data resources.
3. Aid with maintenance and management of data through all phases of research lifecycle; review progress and assure accuracy and compliance of data being acquired and stored.
4. Provide technical support and computing assistance to faculty and researchers in the university's social science departments and schools.
5. Implement statistical methods for descriptive and causal designs and learn new research methods as needed.
6. Develop archiving and dissemination solutions for research across disciplines.
7. May perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in a related field and four years of related experience in academic or scientific research support or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
