Job description

SONIFI Health delivers interactive technology proven to improve patient experience, health outcomes and hospital productivity. SONIFI Health provides interactive services to over 30,000 rooms across 130 hospitals throughout the United States. Hospitals partner with SONIFI Health because of our vast engagement and integration expertise.

Every interaction a patient has during a hospital stay matters. As a Clinical Consultant with SONIFI Health, you'll partner with healthcare organizations across the country to improve patient education, strengthen clinical workflows, and increase patient engagement through innovative technology. This is a highly consultative role that combines clinical expertise, implementation leadership, customer education, and strategic partnership to help hospitals realize measurable value from their SONIFI Health solutions.

Location: This is a remote position. Preference will be given to candidates located in the Central or Western United States, particularly west of the Mississippi River, to best support the assigned customer portfolio and travel requirements.

Travel: Approximately 30% travel throughout the Central and Western United States, including overnight travel by air and ground transportation to support customer implementations, executive meetings, training, and go-live activities.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Outcomes, you'll serve as the clinical subject matter expert throughout the implementation and adoption lifecycle, partnering with hospital leaders, patient educators, nursing teams, and SONIFI Health colleagues to deliver successful clinical outcomes and lasting customer relationships.

  • Lead the successful clinical implementation of SONIFI Health solutions by partnering with hospital leadership and project teams to establish implementation goals, identify key initiatives, build governance teams, and guide clinical decision-making that supports long-term adoption and measurable outcomes.
  • Evaluate nursing workflows and patient engagement strategies by observing care unit operations and recommending process improvements that leverage SONIFI Health solutions, including patient-facing screens, discharge planning, patient education, and other clinical functionality.
  • Develop and deliver customized clinical adoption programs by creating training plans, educating hospital teams, partnering with patient educators and clinical leaders, and helping organizations successfully integrate SONIFI Health technology into everyday clinical practice.
  • Serve as the trusted clinical advisor for a portfolio of healthcare customers by conducting patient education reviews, performing quality control assessments of live systems, providing ongoing clinical guidance, and helping customers maximize the long-term value of their investment.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Sales Executives, Customer Success Executives, Product Management, Product Development, and implementation teams by providing clinical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, product discussions, workflow planning, and solution design.
  • Help shape the future of SONIFI Health solutions by participating in clinical research activities, monitoring healthcare trends, reimbursement changes, certifications, credentialing requirements, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to ensure our products and clinical messaging remain current.
  • Represent SONIFI Health as a clinical ambassador through webinars, industry events, clinical forums, social media, and customer presentations while successfully balancing multiple implementation projects, customer priorities, timelines, and business objectives.

What you'll need

We're looking for a clinically experienced professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and helping healthcare organizations improve patient engagement through technology. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable presenting to executive leadership, coaching frontline clinicians, and collaborating with technical teams to achieve successful implementation outcomes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN required) with 3-5 years of clinical experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience as a Patient Educator is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical workflows, patient education programs, and nursing operations while effectively communicating clinical concepts and recommendations to both clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with experience leading meetings, delivering clinical training, influencing stakeholders, and building trusted relationships across all levels of a healthcare organization.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple customer implementations, adjust priorities, evaluate business and project impacts, and make informed decisions that support successful customer outcomes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, along with strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn healthcare technology platforms and custom software applications.
  • Proven ability to motivate, influence, and guide both internal teams and customer stakeholders without direct supervisory authority while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accountability, and customer focus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% throughout the United States, including overnight travel by air and ground transportation, occasional evening or weekend work to support implementation milestones, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds when transporting training materials.

Preferred

  • Experience as a Patient Educator or in a clinical education role.
  • Experience implementing healthcare technology, patient engagement platforms, or patient education solutions.
  • Experience supporting healthcare software implementations, customer success, clinical consulting, or workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Product Development, Sales, or Customer Success teams as a clinical subject matter expert.

Together, we can build your future!

Expected salary range: $100,000 to $140,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, geographic location, and overall qualifications.

At SONIFI Health, you'll have the opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with innovative technology to help hospitals improve patient engagement and clinical outcomes across the country. If you're passionate about patient education, workflow improvement, and partnering with healthcare organizations to drive meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.
