Position Description
  • As a Scaffold crew member, job duties may include using sketches, drawing, verbal and written direction, plan, prepare, construct, adjust, take down and package scaffolding builds of all types.
  • Use of hand and power tools such as: measuring tape, racket, sockets, combination wrench, hammer, saw, wire cutters, torpedo level, skill saw, grinder, porta-band saw, etc.
  • Complying with all safety regulations and procedures applicable to a chemical plant environment is an absolute must.
  • Attending work regularly and timely as well as being flexible to work varied shifts and/or overtime as needed.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 90 pounds while working and climbing scaffolding at 4ft heights and greater.
  • Respirator or mask may need to be worn, as directed by Supervisor or as needed in certain conditions.
  • Supervisor will direct if any additional tasks are needed.

Position Requirements
Reading and writing proficiently, following directions both oral and written, communicate effectively, take notice of any and all warning labels and signs, work within confined spaces at times. Ability to climb and perform tasks at varied heights along edges of roofs. Working safely in crane basket, hi- ranger, grove/snorkel lift, step ladders, extension ladders, and scaffolding will be required at times. Attendance of scaffold building and OSHA standards training classes is required. For anyone operating a Partner Industrial vehicle, a current and valid Driver's License must be provided along with a road test to obtain a Partner Industrial Driving Certification.
