Job description

Who are we?

XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint.

As part of this expansion in the US, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Sr. Process Engineer to join the team. Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, this position will perform continuous improvement and sustainment of manufacturing processes to maximize efficiency and ensure proper quality.

An overview of your responsibilities!

  • Partner with Manufacturing, Operations, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost

  • Develop, optimize, and sustain assembly and manufacturing processes with a focus on ergonomics, efficiency, and quality

  • Perform line balancing and capacity analysis using standard time data to support takt time and production targets

  • Create, maintain, and deploy MES work instructions, including quality checkpoints, traceability, and torque/parameter recording

  • Own tooling, fixtures, and equipment standards, including specifications for hand tools, power tools, and major production equipment

  • Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and error-proofing (poka-yoke) solutions, prioritizing design-based prevention

  • Lead PFMEA development and maintain associated control plans

  • Plan and execute CapEx projects and collaborate with equipment vendors to support volume ramps and process optimization

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI), prototypes, and production readiness through cross-functional collaboration

  • Provide technical documentation, failure analysis, root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation

  • Analyze production performance data and lead improvement initiatives to meet output, quality, and safety goals

  • Mentor and support process engineers and production teams through technical leadership and training

What you'll need, among other things!

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with progressive advancement

  • Proven experience in Design for Manufacturing and New Product Introduction

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle data and make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

  • Knowledge of CAD and other design and simulation software

  • Experience on Change management
