What is a client support?

A Client Support specialist is a professional who assists customers or clients by responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about products or services. They serve as a direct point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships. Client Support specialists may communicate with clients via phone, email, chat, or in person, and often troubleshoot problems or guide clients through processes. Their role is vital in building trust and loyalty, and they often collaborate with other teams to address client needs effectively.

What skills and qualifications are needed for client support?

To thrive as a Client Support professional, you need strong problem-solving abilities, product knowledge, and typically a background in customer service or a related field. Familiarity with CRM software, ticketing systems, and communication platforms is often required. Excellent communication, patience, and conflict-resolution skills help you build rapport and handle challenging situations effectively. These skills ensure client satisfaction, efficient issue resolution, and contribute to long-term business relationships.

How does a client support role typically interact with other departments within an organization?

Client Support professionals frequently collaborate with teams such as Sales, Product Development, and IT to resolve client issues efficiently. This role often acts as the bridge between clients and internal teams, relaying feedback, escalating technical problems, and ensuring client needs are addressed. Effective communication and teamwork are essential, as timely coordination can significantly impact client satisfaction and retention. Regular meetings and shared platforms are commonly used to streamline cross-department interactions.

Why You'll Love Working with Us

  • Purpose-Driven Work: Help families and individuals use technology in ways that support their values and make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
  • Direct Customer Impact: Work one-on-one with customers, solve real problems, and see how your support makes a difference.
  • Opportunity to Make Your Mark: Become part of a growing company where your ideas, contributions, and customer relationships can have a direct impact on our future.
  • Variety in Your Day: Balance customer service, technical support, sales conversations, and onboarding instead of doing the same task all day.
  • Flexibility That Matters: Join a company that values family time and works with team members to accommodate their needs.

About Us

At TruNorth Solutions, we develop technology solutions that help families, individuals, churches, and businesses use technology in ways that align with their values. • Guide customers through initial sales conversations, handle straightforward sales, and connect more complex opportunities with management.
  • Troubleshoot filtering questions, software settings, and common technical issues to help customers get the most from their services.
  • Coordinate more complex technical concerns by creating support tickets and connecting customers with the appropriate technical resources.
  • Onboard new customers by entering accurate account information and assisting with phone setup, software installation, and SIM card configuration.
  • Follow up with sales leads and prospective customers to answer questions and help move conversations forward.
  • Maintain customer records and marketing email lists so information stays accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Support our growing team with additional customer-focused and administrative tasks as needed.

Our Ideal Client Support Representative

  • Experienced: 5+ years of customer service, inside sales, or other customer-facing experience and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Tech-Savvy: Feel comfortable working with computers, learning new software quickly, and helping customers navigate technology with confidence.
  • Communicative: Communicate clearly, professionally, and patiently with customers by phone and email, even when working through questions or technical concerns.
  • Reliable: Manage your responsibilities independently, stay on top of customer follow-up, and maintain accurate information and records.
  • Adaptable: Experience with CRM or customer management systems, basic technical troubleshooting, mobile device setup, phone systems, or bookkeeping is a plus.
  • Values-Aligned: Share our commitment to Christian values and represent our faith-based mission with integrity and genuine care for the customers and community we serve.

What We Offer Our Client Support Representative

  • Pay Range: $25-$30/hour
  • Health Insurance Options
  • Paid Time Off
  • Paid Holidays
  • Flexible Full-Time or Part-Time Hours (at least 24 hours per week)
  • Cell Phone and Laptop Provided
