They act as a bridge between the client and the company, providing support, guidance, and strategic advice to maximize value and satisfaction. Client Success Partners often handle onboarding, monitor client progress, address concerns, and identify opportunities for growth or improvement. Their goal is to build long-term, positive relationships that help both the client and the company succeed.

How does a client success partner typically collaborate with internal teams to address client needs?

Client Success Partners work closely with various internal teams, such as sales, product, and support, to ensure clients receive comprehensive solutions. They often serve as the main point of contact, relaying client feedback and coordinating resources to resolve issues promptly. Regular meetings and updates with cross-functional teams are common, allowing the Client Success Partner to advocate for the client's goals and ensure a seamless experience. This collaborative approach not only helps in addressing immediate concerns but also in identifying opportunities for long-term client growth and satisfaction.

Job description

Client Success Specialist

Department: Sales and Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Description

At Jimerson Birr, our team accepts the lasting responsibility of protecting our clients' rights, businesses, properties, investments, and finances. We partner with established companies, emerging ventures, and individuals to structure deals, solve complex problems, and guide pivotal decisions with measurable outcomes. We pride ourselves on legal excellence, disciplined execution, and a culture built on service, quality, and results.

The Client Success Specialist owns the client experience across our book of business — making sure every client feels the value of the relationship, spotting where the firm can do more for them, and turning that insight into growth.

You'll manage a portfolio of client relationships, understand where each one stands today, and act on what you see — proactive outreach, timely check-ins, and clear communication about how the firm can help. Working closely with Marketing and Sales, you'll surface opportunities inside your portfolio and hand them off cleanly to the right team, with the context they need to move forward.

If you're energized by building genuine client relationships, sharp at reading what a client actually needs, and disciplined about managing your own book without daily oversight, this role was built for you.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and prioritize a portfolio of client relationships, keeping records current, organized, and reflective of where each relationship stands.
  • Run a consistent, planned cadence of client touchpoints that reinforces the value of the relationship and keeps the firm top of mind.
  • Design and refine client engagement initiatives, coordinating with Marketing on content and any required clearances.
  • Partner with Sales and business development to move qualified opportunities forward.
  • Serve as a trusted, professional point of contact for clients, coordinating internally with attorneys and firm staff as needed.
  • Identify genuine opportunities within your portfolio, qualify them thoughtfully, and hand them off to the appropriate team with full context.
  • Track engagement activity and outcomes, and share what you learn back with Service, Sales, and Marketing.
Who You Are
  • Comfortable and professional building and maintaining client relationships over time.
  • Able to read a client's history and situation and form a current, forward-looking view of how to serve them.
  • Organized and fluent with CRM and campaign tools, with strong self-management.
  • Clear on your role; you build relationships and qualify opportunities, then hand them off to the team that carries them forward.
  • Self-directed and consistent, comfortable running your own cadence without daily oversight.
What You Bring
  • 2+ years of experience in client success, account management, retention, or relationship-focused marketing or sales, ideally in professional services or B2B.
  • Comfortable with CRM and campaign/pipeline tools (Salesforce, or comparable platforms preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the professionalism to represent the firm to established clients.
  • Sound judgment for identifying and qualifying genuine opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with equivalent experience.

At Jimerson Birr, this is a role with real ownership and real impact. You'll manage meaningful client relationships with autonomy, backed by a Sales and Marketing team built to support you. You'll work in an environment that values ownership, discipline, and results, where your contributions are visible and recognized.
