Job description

Role Summary

The Client Success Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the development and delivery of personalized and comprehensive Retirement Income & Financial Plans for advisor clients to present to their end clients. The advice provided encompasses a broad range of topics, including retirement and investment planning, budgeting, saving, and spending analysis, and Social Security claiming strategies. The role also contributes to program enhancements by maintaining current knowledge of new investment advice capabilities, financial planning tools, and financial education resources. The incumbent provides ongoing support to advisors during financial plan updates and offers continuous training and coaching on investment and financial planning via our software platform.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development of personalized and comprehensive Retirement Income & Financial Plans for advisor clients to deliver to their end clients. Advice provided includes, but is not limited to, retirement planning, investment planning, budgeting, saving and spending analysis and Social Security claiming strategies.
  • Provides support to advisors when they update financial plans. This planner continually supports the Advisor clients with investment and financial planning related training and coaching through our software platform.
  • Work with business partners in Legal and Compliance, Oversight, Brokerage Operations, MultiAsset and Product Management as needed to provide greater depth and breadth to the financial advice we provide our clients and help client facing associates better navigate client conversations about a various of complex financial planning topics.
  • Contributes suggestions for program enhancements, ensures up-to-date knowledge of and fluency in new capabilities related to investments advice, financial planning and financial education. Identifies areas for improvements, evaluates existing policy, and partners with peers and management to offer suggestions for change.
  • Proactively consults on a range of client relationships, listens for cues on needs, and ensures continued satisfaction and retention. Advises clients on best practices, organizational solutions, and regulatory changes.
  • Partners with teams across the enterprise to understand best practices in client services, applicable regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings. Liaises with relevant business contacts (internally and externally) to coordinate service to the client. Escalates relevant issues to senior team members or management. Applies high client service protocols to support client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -5+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in their own job discipline and working knowledge of related disciplines
  • Leads projects or work streams within broader projects
  • Accountable for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty
  • Works independently, receives minimal guidance
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience

Preferred:

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 & Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor Designation.

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
