Role: Sr. Client Partner - Major Life Science Account

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Client Partner with deep Life Sciences expertise to drive strategic growth within a major enterprise Life Sciences account. This role owns the overall client relationship, revenue growth, profitability, and long-term account strategy.
The ideal candidate combines executive-level relationship management with a proven track record of expanding strategic accounts through AI, data, cloud, and digital transformation services. Success requires a strong understanding of the Life Sciences industry-including research, clinical development, drug discovery, drug analytics, and regulatory environments-and the ability to translate business priorities into innovative technology solutions.
What You'll Do
  • Own the growth strategy, revenue, and profitability for a major Life Sciences account.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology executives, including C-suite leaders.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive long-term expansion.
  • Identify new opportunities and expand existing engagements across AI, data, cloud, analytics, digital engineering, and scientific computing.
  • Partner with Quantiphi's AI, engineering, and Life Sciences experts to deliver differentiated solutions.
  • Introduce innovative ideas that help clients accelerate research, optimize clinical trials, improve drug development, and enhance business outcomes through AI.
  • Lead complex commercial discussions, negotiations, and executive account governance.
  • Collaborate across global delivery and leadership teams to ensure exceptional client success.

Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of enterprise technology sales, consulting, or strategic account management experience within the Life Sciences industry (required).
  • Proven success building and growing relationships with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Life Sciences organizations and C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts and consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of Life Sciences business processes, including drug discovery, research, clinical trials, drug development, pharmacovigilance, regulatory compliance, and drug analytics.
  • Experience selling AI, GenAI, cloud, data, analytics, automation, digital engineering, or scientific computing solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud AI platforms such as Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, and modern AI governance practices.
  • Experience structuring and negotiating enterprise commercial agreements, including MSAs and SOWs.
  • Experience partnering with hyperscalers such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong executive communication, consultative selling, forecasting, and pipeline management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field preferred. MBA is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with a leading technology consulting or professional services organization serving Life Sciences clients.
  • Track record selling enterprise AI, data, cloud, platform engineering, digital transformation, or analytics solutions within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Established network of executive relationships across the Life Sciences ecosystem, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, contract research organizations (CROs), and research institutions.
