About the Role

Overview

This role supports both the research and portfolio management of our solutions portfolio management team. Responsibilities of the team include portfolio oversight, rebalancing, risk and performance analysis, as well as research into long term asset class expectations across public and private assets. The position requires a collaborative, detail-oriented professional capable of contributing across both portfolio management execution and investment research initiatives.

Portfolio Management

  • Serve as a reliable and flexible contributor to theWVBand wider solutions portfolio management teams, supporting high-priority initiatives and operational needs across the portfolio management agenda.
  • Develop deep expertise in discretionary solutions, including investment rationale, portfolio templates, constraints, and turnover considerations.
  • Support the strategic rebalance process through analysis, execution assistance, and operational coordination.
  • Strengthen position oversight, risk review, and performance monitoring capabilities across the solutions platform.

Research

  • Serve as a key contributor to the research and development of the framework underpinning strategic portfolio design inour public private multi asset products and solutions
  • Develop and enhance strategic assumptions related to private assets across the investment platform.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the fundamental inputs used in capital market assumptions.

Skills

  • Early career, experience 3-5 years
  • Intellectual curiosity: the ability to ask good questions, problem solve, think entrepreneurially, develop new tools, and adapt to client challenges
  • Fiduciary Mindset: working responsibly and independently as part of a highly collaborative team focused on delivering best client outcomes. Engages in respectful debate and knows when to ask for help
  • Ideally multi-asset exposure
  • Evidence of quantitative skill (research, degree, portfolio construction, risk management)
  • Passion for technology, data analysis, risk, and portfolio construction: demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology and analyze and manipulate data.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:

USD 80,000 - 150,000

This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.

Base salaryis only one component of Wellington's total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
