Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Private Client Services Practice Group in New York City. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney to work with high-net-worth individuals on complex trust and estate matters while developing expertise in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Candidate Profile:
  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • New York Bar Admission or the ability to waive in.
  • LL.M. and strong tax background required.
  • 2โ€“4 years of substantive law firm experience in trust and estates law.
  • Demonstrated drafting and estate administration skills, including experience with complex wills and trusts.
  • Proficiency in preparing client presentations, tax calculations and analysis, and administering estates from probate through closing.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage client contact.
  • Supervisory skills to direct paralegals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise high-net-worth clients on trust and estate matters, including estate planning, tax strategies, and administration.
  • Draft complex wills and trusts tailored to client needs.
  • Manage the administration of estates from probate through final closing, ensuring all tax filings and legal requirements are met.
