Job description

Cumulative Wealth Solutions is a boutique financial planning firm dedicated to helping individuals and families make informed decisions about retirement and their financial future. We pride ourselves on building lasting relationships, providing exceptional service, and creating a welcoming experience for every client who walks through our doors.

As our firm continues to grow, we're looking for a Client Services & Administrative Assistant to become an important part of our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in staying organized, and is looking for an opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company.

If you'd like to learn more about who we are, meet our team, and learn about our mission, we encourage you to visit www.cumulativewealth.com before applying.

This role begins as a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week and offers a genuine opportunity for increased responsibility, additional hours, and potential advancement into an Office Manager or Operations role as our firm continues to expand.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome clients and visitors to our office and help create an exceptional first impression.
  • Prepare conference rooms and ensure clients have a comfortable, welcoming experience.
  • Assist with client communications and scheduling.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Scan, organize, label, and maintain digital client files.
  • Assist with document preparation and a variety of administrative projects.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Support our advisors and operations team with day-to-day office responsibilities.
  • Prepare materials for educational seminars and client events.
  • Attend approximately two local educational seminars each month to assist with event setup and client support. During seminar weeks, your regular work schedule will be adjusted so your total hours remain approximately 20 hours for the week.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, learning new skills, and finding ways to help a growing team succeed. We'll provide the training and support you need, but we're seeking someone who takes pride in being dependable, resourceful, and willing to step in wherever they're needed.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Has a positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Enjoys working with people and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Is highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Learns quickly and follows through on commitments.
  • Can work independently while also collaborating well with a small team.
  • Is comfortable using technology and learning new software.
  • Takes pride in staying organized and anticipating what needs to be done.
  • Wants to build a career, not simply find their next job.

Qualifications

Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Reliable transportation.

Preferred

  • Administrative, customer service, or office experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, or similar software.
  • An interest in learning financial industry terminology and processes.

Previous experience in financial services is not required. We value professionalism, initiative, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude above industry experience.

Schedule

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week.

We offer flexibility when establishing your regular schedule, but once it's established, your hours will remain consistent from week to week. Typical schedules may be four 5-hour days or five 4-hour days, depending on availability and business needs.

Compensation

$22.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

To Apply

Please submit your resume along with a brief cover letter or a short paragraph introducing yourself.

Rather than simply telling us about your previous experience, we'd love to learn a little more about you as a person. Please include:

  • What interested you about this opportunity?
  • Why do you think you'd enjoy working for a small, growing business?
  • Tell us something about yourself that isn't obvious from your resume.

We're intentionally hiring for long-term potential as much as previous experience, so this is your opportunity to help us get to know the person behind the resume. We encourage you to write your response in your own voice so we can get a genuine sense of who you are.

We look forward to meeting you!
