Job Description

Specific Duties:

  • Prepare renewal packages for Producers consisting of summary of insurance and/or future applications as required, supplemental applications, insurance coverage review blank checklist, loss runs (if available), loss summaries, WC experience mod and identifies any other informational areas that need to be addressed.
  • Issue binders or secure binder from brokers as appropriate, Issues master certificates, change requests and confirmation letters.
  • Processes policies and prepare for mailing, paying special attention to coding, issuing/billing company, producer and company commission, type of billing and policy status.  
  • Update billing screens and applications as needed. In addition, invoice all premium transactions in the agency management system in a timely manner.
  • Receives incoming client/carrier calls and addresses needs.
  • Promptly respond to and complete insured request for coverage changes, certificates, and claim assistance. Following procedural guidelines for completeness.
  • Maintain client and carrier relationships.
  • Assist producers and marketing department.
  • Assist Accounting with timely invoicing of transactions and resolution of accounting discrepancies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
