The Financial Planning & Client Service Coordinator plays an important role in supporting our Financial Advisors by delivering exceptional client service, assisting with financial planning and investment-related processes, and helping strengthen client relationships.

Client Service & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely, professional, and courteous service.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, including financial plans, performance reports, and review packets.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant client files, ensuring data and documentation are up to date.
  • Monitor accounts for changes, unusual activity, and service needs, following up as necessary.
Advisory & Planning Support
  • Assist Financial Advisors in developing and implementing client financial plans and recommendations.
  • Support proposal preparation, investment research, and report generation.
  • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and follow through on action items.
  • Actively engage with the Financial Advisory and Wealth Management Financial Planning Group.
  • Work toward obtaining CFP® designation, SIE, Series 7, 66, and Life & Health licenses within one year to advance into an advisory role.
Business Development & Operations
  • Support marketing and outreach initiatives, including campaigns, client events, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify opportunities for cross-selling and relationship expansion.
  • Participate in community and networking events to enhance the visibility of the Financial Advisory team.
Compliance & Professional Standards
  • Ensure adherence to all Bank, LPL, and FINRA regulations and internal policies.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
  • Complete all required compliance and continuing education training on an annual basis.
Adhere to all Bank Security/Compliance Regulations
  • Complete all annual bank security and compliance training
  • Adhere to Bank Security/compliance and policy guidelines for commercial loan area.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
  • Stay current on all compliance regulations required through training and education
Other Responsibilities
  • Participate in bank and department meetings.
  • Represent the bank in professional and community activities.
  • Actively participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
  • Partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships.
  • Continually develop knowledge, skills, and abilities through internal and external training programs.
  • Participate in bank and department meetings.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics' or related field.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for learning financial software systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, professionalism, and initiative.
  • Commitment to pursuing industry licenses within one year.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, banking, or a client-facing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Personal Finance.
  • Experience in financial planning or advisory services.
  • SIE, Series 7, 66, and Life & Health licenses (or willingness to obtain within one year).
  • Familiarity with LPL platforms and financial planning tools.
