What You'll Do

We are looking for an Associate, Client Service Manager to join our team! You will support an assigned group of clients by handling questions, requests, and issues quickly and accurately. This role provides hands-on support, ensures service standards are met, and helps maintain strong client relationships every day.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, or portal. Serve as a primary contact for plan sponsors, participants, and internal teams, providing guidance on retirement plan services. Assist clients in navigating account information, retirement plan options, and general administrative processes.
  • Handle a broad variety of retirement plan transactions (contributions, distributions, rollovers, loans, investment elections, beneficiary updates). Guarantee accuracy and adherence to internal procedures and regulatory standards. Maintain and reconcile client and participant records, addressing discrepancies as they occur.
  • Adhere to regulatory, legal, and company policies, including ERISA and IRS rules. Maintain confidentiality of critical client information and bring up unusual or complex issues. Generate reports, document interactions and transactions, and support audits or internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and advisor teams to ensure smooth workflow and issue resolution. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience.
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.

Who You Are
  • 1 year of experience in client service, financial services, or retirement plan operations is required. Equivalent experience can also be demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Practical understanding of retirement plan administration and financial concepts, with the capability to apply procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Exposure to retirement products and services such as 401(k), 403(b), defined benefit arrangements, pension risk transfer group annuity contracts, or other defined contribution offerings preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to detect, analyze, and fix data inconsistencies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with recordkeeping or workflow systems.
  • Strong communication abilities and capacity to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.
