Job description

The Client Service Executive (CSE) plays a pivotal role within the organization, overseeing the full spectrum of client account management and ensuring the highest standards of service. Building upon the responsibilities of the Client Service Associate, the CSE is responsible for strategic planning, client retention, and business growth. As a senior member of the team, the CSE serves as a mentor for their team, lead client renewal presentations, and maintain strong relationships with carriers and brokers.

WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO (Essential Job Tasks)

As a Client Service Executive, you will:

Account Management

  • Ensure compliance with all signed documentation and regulatory filings
  • Take ultimate responsibility for billing and managing aged receivables
  • Review and take appropriate action on all account reports
  • Maintain direct communication with managers and producers regarding staff, client, and claim issues
  • Provide timely feedback to Associates/Assistants and escalate to managers as needed
  • Assess workloads and delegate duties effectively to ensure optimal team performance
  • Conduct account benchmarking and budgeting as requested
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, fostering and maintaining strong relationships

New & Renewal Accounts

  • Initiate pre-renewal and strategy discussions with clients
  • Independently handle client renewal presentations and proposals
  • Prepare and present broker service proposals
  • Conduct WC Experience Mod Forecasting and Analysis
  • Create and deliver stewardship reports
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums for new and renewal accounts
  • Ensure all client service calendar obligations are met in collaboration with producers

Mentorship & Development

  • Mentor new and current team members, providing guidance and support for their development
  • Teach classes to the organization on insurance coverage, endorsements, procedures, or best practices
  • Participate actively in continuing education (CE) and work towards obtaining industry designations as instructed by management
  • Stay current on market trends and emerging risks, sharing knowledge with the team

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Active Property & Casualty Agentโ€™s License
