The Client Onboarding organization is responsible for accurate, efficient, effective and timely onboarding of clients across all businesses and geographies at Nelnet. We are looking for a Project Manager in our Lincoln office to plan and execute various onboarding projects and other responsibilities.
Starting Pay Rate: $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
Nelnet believes in a hybrid work environment that accommodates both in-office and remote work. This model promotes a positive work-life balance and culture, enabling in-person collaboration when possible while also providing benefits associated with remote work. The standard hybrid work schedule includes 24 hours of in-office work each week, for associates that reside within 30 miles of an office. This is subject to change, based on manager discretion.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Planning and successful execution of multiple onboarding projects through cross functional collaboration

  • Performing analysis/due diligence, creating clear and attainable objectives and building project requirements

  • Actively tracking each aspect of project performance against schedules and critical paths

  • Providing status reporting and updates on issue resolution

  • Delivering against agreed cost, time, scope and quality constraints

  • Coordinating and promoting continuous improvement of workflows, procedures, processes and standards


EDUCATION:
Bachelors required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 + years in project management experience

  • Experience in end to end onboarding and implementation

  • PMP Certification a plus

  • Experience with Microsoft project, JIRA and confluence.
