Growing transportation brokerage specializing in Dry Van, Reefer, Oversized Freight, Over-Dimensional Shipments, Specialized Equipment, Flatbeds, and Multi-Modal transportation. Seeking a commercial team member to support business growth, customer development, and operational execution.
Position Summary
Responsible for driving new business, managing customer relationships, and delivering transportation solutions. Combines brokerage sales, account management, and freight operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new freight opportunities and long-term customer relationships.
  • Grow and manage transportation accounts.
  • Expand business through account development.
  • Coordinate FTL, Dry Van, Reefer, Drayage, Intermodal, Specialized and Over-Dimensional freight.
  • Develop freight pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with carrier development and operations teams.
  • Build carrier relationships.
  • Resolve service issues and transportation challenges.
  • Monitor market trends.
  • Use TMS systems and maintain accurate account records.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in non-asset freight brokerage.
  • Business development, account management, or transportation sales experience.
  • Understanding of freight pricing and transportation execution.
  • Knowledge of FTL, Dry Van, Reefer, Specialized Freight, Intermodal, and Over-Dimensional Freight.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience with TMS and Microsoft Office.
