Job description

Job Description
Join a Company That's Building What's Next
Peerless is a fast-growing engineering company headquartered right here in Buffalo, tackling some of the most interesting technical challenges in our industry - and our clients span the globe. We're not just filling a seat with this role; we're looking for a driven relationship-builder who wants real ownership over their pipeline, real earning potential, and a real path to grow with us.
If you love the thrill of the outbound hunt, thrive on turning a cold call into a warm partnership, and want to be part of a tight-knit, collaborative team that actually has your back - keep reading.
What You'll Do
  • Open doors. Make outbound calls to cold and warm business contacts, and turn conversations into opportunities.
  • Build your pipeline. Prospect strategically, follow up relentlessly (in a good way), and keep it organized in our CRM.
  • Own the relationship. Partner with supplier contacts and our internal customer support team to deliver a seamless experience.
  • Close the loop. Schedule and support web presentations, secure orders, and help hit team goals and metrics.
  • Sharpen the tools. Help build lead lists and contribute to sales/marketing materials that make the whole team more effective.

What Success Looks Like
You're organized, self-directed, and genuinely enjoy the sales process - not just the close, but the chase. You communicate clearly, adapt on the fly, and don't get rattled by a "no." You're comfortable in a CRM and know your way around tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, and MS Office. Ideally, you've sold into technical or high-level accounts before and know how to speak that language.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years in Inside Sales, Outbound Sales, and/or Lead Generation
  • A track record of prospecting, selling, and generating leads via outbound calls
  • Experience working with sophisticated, high-level clients (technical industry experience a strong plus)
  • Comfort with CRM software and modern sales tech
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A resilient, adaptable, team-first mindset

Why Peerless?
  • Competitive pay: $40,000-$50,000 base, plus incentives and bonus potential
  • Growth-minded culture: ongoing training, development, and a clear path for advancement
  • Real teamwork: a supportive, collaborative environment where your wins are celebrated
  • Meaningful work: contribute to high-profile, global engineering projects
  • Local roots, global reach: be part of a growing Buffalo-based company making an impact well beyond WNY
