You will manage an existing portfolio of clients and are responsible for opening deposit and loan products on demand as well as proactive business development focused on Target Market clients for their core banking needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Advises consumer and small business clients in their selection of deposit accounts, loans and other products and financial services.
  • Act as primary point of contact for assigned portfolio of clients and work proactively to deepen relationships and ensure client retention; proactively work to acquire new clients. Expand new and existing relationships by advising and recommending appropriate financial solutions to each client’s unique situation.
  • Utilize and embrace new technology to enhance the client experience.
  • Meet and exceed individual goals for new loans, deposit accounts and referrals; utilize various reports to monitor and report on progress.
  • Identify and successfully refer clients and prospects to appropriate business partners resulting in expanded relationships in other lines of business. As OneJFG, you are part of a team of supportive business partners that collaborate to serve our clients’ full financial needs.
  • Partner with your branch team to remain familiar with competitor products, services and pricing; understands and uses techniques with clients to compare and contrast JFG products and services.
  • Adheres to established operational procedures and controls for security and safety policies.
  • In addition to client relationship management, you may be asked, at times, to cover the teller line and perform cash handling duties.
  • Candidates must adhere to our professional dress code, which includes wearing Johnson Financial Group logo apparel. Name tags must be worn at all times. Exceptions for religious or medical needs must be pre-approved by Human Resources. 

Qualifications and Benefits:

  • 3 + years financial services experience; minimum 3 year banking/lending experience required; strong lending experience required; proven sales track record with sales and referrals; ability to build strong relationships with business partners to meet referral expectations; regularly refer across all business lines (insurance, treasury management, mortgage, commercial, etc); possesses and utilizes the most advanced knowledge of all core products, loans, and investments; has highest authority levels and approvals; ability to process the most complex interactions; coaches/mentors other associates; may provide back up to manager.
  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Advanced training/education a plus; we also offer tuition reimbursement if you want to advance yourself academically!
  • National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration will be obtained upon hire
  • Excellent client service and communication skills essential with a genuine care and passion for helping people
