Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Execution: Actively engage in the full sales cycle, from meticulous lead qualification and introductory calls to creating and presenting detailed, high-impact proposals for new event business.
  • Revenue Growth: Work closely with executive leadership to implement, refine, and execute targeted strategies for client acquisition, consistently achieving and exceeding company sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients, skillfully nurturing these relationships into long-term strategic partnerships. Identify opportunities for upselling and ensure exceptional client satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Sales Enablement: Assist in maintaining and managing critical sales documentation, tracking key performance metrics, and streamlining the sales-to-operations handover process to ensure a seamless and world-class client experience.
  • Leadership Development: Take a self-driven, proactive approach to mastering the complex event services and technology landscape, building the foundational knowledge necessary to manage and expand the future sales organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in client-facing business sales or technology sales is required.
  • Highly driven, persistent, and a proactive self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the professional acumen required to build rapport and trust with executive-level clients.

Office and Compensation Details

  • Location: This is an office-based position located in Birmingham, AL.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform computer-based work for extended periods (sitting, typing, and screen use) and possess the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move light objects for office and meeting setup.
