ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Katie Chase Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple facets of a small business environment within the insurance and financial services industry. The ideal candidate will develop valuable business acumen by engaging in diverse tasks that support our operations, marketing, client relations, and administrative functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in planning, promoting, and attending marketing and community outreach events.
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms to engage current and prospective clients.
  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform data entry, maintain client databases, and assist with data management tasks.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials.
  • Conduct basic market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Help with administrative duties such as filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and client engagement.
  • Shadow professionals to gain insight into insurance policy processing and financial product offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • To be eligible for an internship, you must be a full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
