Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as lead worker by supervising and participating in the provision of social service assistance to eligible clients in the following areas: food, lodging, clothing, furniture, and financial assistance; interview clients to determine need and eligibility to receive services; prepares accurate and com-plete client records; refers clients to community agencies and maintains effective working relation-ships with the same; ensures compliance with program policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent,

and

two years experience coordinating or managing work in an office environment preferably in the Social Services field

or

any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
